Recording was completed in November for a new animated film
by a major movie company about a surf band. Bert's song
A-swing was their pick for this project. Look for updates and
release dates.
The soundtrack for a new documentary on surfing tanker
wakes has been completed using cuts from the "Old School"
CD plus a new original tune titled "Galvetraz". The project is
being underwritten and produced by James Fulbrite of Surf
Specialities and Hurricane Surfboards of Galveston, Texas.
Recording began in November 2004 at "the Den" recording
studio in Galveston, Texas and was completed in April 2005.
Bert recently performed on Calvin Owens' new CD contributing
and singing one of his original songs "If the blues come roun'".
This will be on the single from the CD and has already
received a W>C> Handy nomination. Bert also plays the
guitar tracks on the CD.
Bert just finished producing and arranging a new CD by Janet
Z that he also played guitar on. It was released in November
2004 and has been doing great.
All of Berts CD's are available at his shows or on
"cdbaby.com". Old School has been getting hits from Japan,
Belgium and Argentina. Look for info on a tour in 2006.
Bert also plays guitar on new CD's by Tommy Lee Bradley
(Soul Soup) which has already been released and a yet to be
released CD by new artist Chris Clarke. To learn more about

Clarke which is scheduled to be released after the first of the
year.
